Glenn Jimenez

Sergeant Glenn Jimenez is a Tactical Flight Officer with over eight years of dedicated service at the Texas Department of Public Safety. Currently, he serves in the Aircraft Operations Division and is stationed in Del Rio, Texas. In 2020, Sergeant Jimenez earned his Part 107 UAS Pilot certification, enhancing his capabilities in both manned and unmanned aviation operations. Throughout his career, Sergeant Jimenez has been instrumental in various critical missions encompassing collision and crime scene mapping, search and rescue efforts (SAR), border security initiatives, as well as disaster response. His expertise extends beyond practical application to academic pursuits; he currently attends Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to further enrich his aeronautical knowledge. Additionally, he also actively teaches how to use the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) in the department and serves as an instructor for the department’s UAS training program. With a commitment to excellence and innovation within aerial tactical operations, Sgt. Jimenez continues to make significant contributions towards ensuring public safety across diverse operational contexts.
