Jason Horger

Lt. Horger has worked for Texas DPS since September of 2001. Lt. Horger was assigned to Highway Patrol for 11 years (2 in Port Lavaca and 9 in Sinton). Lt. Horger was selected for a Tactical Flight Officer in the Air Operations Division in November 2012 (duty stations Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and back to Houston). In May of 2020, Lt. Horger was selected as a Training Lieutenant. Lt. Horgers training duties are the TFO Program. He teaches new TFOs how to operate equipment and tactics (movement to contact).
