Michael Leckliter

Michael Leckliter is a seasoned firefighter and paramedic with 18 years of dedicated service at the Corona Fire Department. As the manager of the department's Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Team Awareness Kit (TAK) programs, he has been instrumental in integrating cutting-edge technology into emergency response operations. This year, Michael spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative to equip every fire engine with UAS capabilities and successfully integrated UAS and TAK systems to enhance situational awareness. By combining these technologies, he has significantly improved operational efficiency on the front lines. Additionally, he established a comprehensive Certificate of Authorization (COA) and training program, instructing and certifying all fire suppression personnel as COA pilots. Michael's commitment to innovation and excellence continues to elevate the department's capabilities in serving the community.
